LESLIE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

 

The Leslie Township Board of Trustees have set the regular scheduled meetings of the Township Board of Trustees for the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. EXCEPT July will be the third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Leslie Township Board Room located at 4279 Oak Road, Leslie, Michigan.

 

The Board of Trustees set the meetings of the Planning Commission for the first Wednesday of September, November, February and April at 6:00 p.m. in the Leslie Township Board Room located at 4279 Oak Road, Leslie, Michigan.

 

Other meetings will be posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.

NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE

ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019

DANSVILLE SCHOOLS, DANSVILLE, MI 48819

 

TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF DANSVILLE SCHOOLS:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of DANSVILLE SCHOOLS who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of their local Township Clerk; the office of the Ingham County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to your local Township Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 21, 2019

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at your local Township Clerk’s office during their regular business hours,

Residents of Dansville Schools who live in Vevay Township and Wheatfield Township will vote in their township polling location. 

 

Residents of Dansville Schools who live in Bunker Hill Township, Leslie Township, Stockbridge Township, White Oak Township, Leroy Township and Ingham Township will vote at the Ingham Township Hall, 1420 Johnson St. Dansville MI 48819

 

Persons with special needs, as defined by the American with Disabilities act, should contact the clerk’s office.

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Dansville School district will be voting on the following millage proposal as presented and listed below:

            DANSVILLE SCHOOLS SINKING FUND

MILLAGE PROPOSAL

This proposal will allow the school district to continue to levy the building and site sinking fund millage that expires with the 2019 tax levy. Shall the currently authorized millage rate of 0.9961 mill ($0.9961 on each $1,000 of  taxable valuation) which may be assessed against all property in Dansville Schools,  Ingham County, Michigan, be renewed for a period of 10 years, 2020 to 2029, inclusive,  to continue to provide for a sinking fund for the purchase of real estate for sites for, and  the construction or repair of, school buildings and all other purposes authorized by law;  the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved and  levied in 2020 is approximately $200,343.63 (this is a renewal of millage that will expire  with the 2019 tax levy)?

THIS MEETING IS CONVENED TO CORRECT MUTUAL MISTAKE OF FACT OR CLERICAL ERROR OR CHANGES PERTAINING TO CERTAIN POVERTY, HOMESTEAD, OR QUALIFIED AG EXEMPTIONS.
