The Leslie Township Election Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, 

October 6, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Leslie Township Business Office located at 

4279 Oak St., Leslie, MI to offer direction for the November 3, 2020 Election.

 

The Leslie Township Election Commission will be meeting on Tuesday, 

October 6, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Leslie Township Business Office located at 

4279 Oak St., Leslie, MI to administer the public accuracy test for the November 3, 2020 Election.

General Election

Tuesday, November 3, 2020

To the qualified Electors:

Notice is hereby given, that any qualified elector of the City of Leslie and the Township of Leslie who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of their Local Clerk; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency.  Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to your Local Clerk at the appropriate address below.  Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.  

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 19, 2020.  

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the office of their local clerk at the appropriate address below:

Proposal 20-2 - A proposed constitutional amendment to require a search warrant in order to access a person’s electronic data or electronic communications.

Public transportation system for elderly and disabled millage renewal question.

To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille.  Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election.  All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.

LESLIE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

 

The Leslie Township Board of Trustees have set the regular scheduled meetings of the Township Board of Trustees for the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. EXCEPT July will be the third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Leslie Township Board Room located at 4279 Oak Road, Leslie, Michigan.

 

The Board of Trustees set the meetings of the Planning Commission for the first Wednesday of September, November, February and April at 6:00 p.m. in the Leslie Township Board Room located at 4279 Oak Road, Leslie, Michigan.

 

Other meetings will be posted in compliance with the Open Meetings Act.
