Handicap Accessible Voting Machine Available
The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) requires that all polling locations be
equipped with one disability-accessible voting machine. This voting machine,
called the AutoMARK, allows voters who are vision-impaired or have a disability
or condition that would make it difficult or impossible to mark a paper
ballot in the usual way to do so privately and independently. It does not
store or tally votes it merely marks the ballot for the voter. Election
inspectors have been trained in the use of the AutoMARK if assistance is
required. For additional information on the use of the AutoMARK you may
